UPDATE 26 Sept 2020:

Following yesterday evening’s announcement by An Taoiseach that Donegal will be moving into Level 3 of the government’s Plan for Living with COVID-19, audiences will not be permitted to attend the performances we have planned between now and the 16th October.

Please bear with us as we rearrange those shows, we will be in touch with all ticket holders as soon as we can.

We would like to take this opportunity to say a huge thank you to the teams involved in these productions for their dedication, imagination and resilience.

In the meantime please wash your hands, wear a mask, limit your contacts and maintain social distancing. Together we can get through this.

We are excited to present this first event in a new programming partnership between An Grianán Theatre and the Regional Cultural Centre which will see events presented live in An Grianán as well as streamed online.

Music Network present Ye Vagabonds and Cormac Begley

Ye Vagabonds brothers – Brían and Diarmuid Mac Gloinn – are fast earning a ticket on the legend bus. With trademark close harmony singing, lean and tasty accompaniment and the rare ability to tell a good story in song, it’s little surprise that they became triple RTÉ Radio 1 Folk awardees last year. In September they take to the road in a new Music Network collaboration with the superb West-Kerry concertina player Cormac Begley. No stranger to musical acclaim himself, Cormac’s spectacular debut solo album received nine 5-star reviews and was shortlisted for the Irish Times Album of the Year 2018. Weaving seamlessly between traditional and contemporary songs and tunes, this spellbinding trio will remind us just how precious live music is.

Music Network concerts are funded by the Arts Council. Music Network is a national music touring and development organisation, whose mission is to make high quality live music available and accessible to people throughout Ireland.
