An invitation to everyone to come along and celebrate World Mental Health Day with Majella O’Donnell and her charity Donegal Mind Wellness. This promises to be an entertaining evening of conversation, singing, drama.
A talk by Majella giving some of her views on the current ‘state of the Nation’; mental health and the work place; how to look after yourself in this hectic world.
A short comical drama piece by local theatre company Bread & Roses about how work can influence our mental health.
Brighdín Carr will perform a song she wrote that was inspired by listening to Majella speak about her journey through life with all its ups and downs.
There will be a topical Mental Health debate between two teams of local wise heads, with the audience deciding who will lift the Donegal Mind Wellness Debating Trophy.
There will be a raffle on the night for some great prizes.
There will also be some local services set up downstairs in the theatre providing information about their services.
