Border Crossings Traditional School

Cost: €90, family discount €80 (includes four complimentary tickets for the end of school performance with Kintra on Fri 13 August)
Suitable for young people and adults (minimum age: dance - 12 years, music - 10 years).
Border Crossings features workshops in Traditional Irish and Scottish music and dance with Matt McGranaghan and Georgina Kee from Kintra, a collective of artistes and musicians widely recognised for their unique fusion of Scottish and Irish folk traditions.

Ideal for anyone who plays traditional music or who performs Irish or Scottish dancing. All instruments welcome!
The students will also provide support for Kintra’s concert on Saturday 13 August at 8pm.

About Kintra
Kintra are a 12 piece group from Donegal, Tyrone and Derry. Kintra perform Irish & Scottish music, song and dance in an exciting and colourful stage show. Led by Matt McGranaghan on Fiddle and Darren Milligan on Bagpipes, the group features piano, tin whistle, guitar, bass, drums, three 2nd Pipers and 2 singers.
