Our always popular performing arts summer school is back this July! Once again the talented people from pbm will stage a week of acting, singing and dancing culminating in a special performance of one of Paul Boyd's hit musicals.

Suitable for children and young people ages 8 to 20.

No previous experience of musical theatre is necessary.

From the team behind ‘The Red Project’ (2006), ‘The McCool Summer School’ (2007), ‘Alice The Musical Summer School’ (2008) and 'Pinocchio' (2009).

pbm is one of the most acclaimed producers and creators of original musical theatre in Ireland and the company’s professional shows have now featured at theatres all across the world.

Every year pbm offers young people interested in musical theatre the opportunity to work with the company’s professional creative team in rehearsals, learning about acting, singing, and dancing, and working towards a public performance of a very special version of one of pbm’s hit shows.

This year pbm is delighted to be offering young people the chance to star in Paul Boyd’s Hansel and Grettel now celebrating its spooky thirteenth year!

"Boyd gives full recognition to the fact that the best stories are often the scariest in a witty, clearly told story" Irish Times

"A witty script and exciting original score...a show not to be missed" The Stage

This is the sixth year of pbm’s hugely successful Summer School, and previous participants have ranged from those interested in appearing in their first musical to those heading off to train at drama school – the company always tailors its work to meet the training needs of those who take part.

With young people travelling from as far away as Cork to take part early booking is strongly advised!
