Autumn/Winter 2010 Drama Classes
Suitable for children 7 to 13 years old, our drama course offers children the chance to play creatively through a wide variety of drama games and exercises.
Start date: Saturday 18 Sept 2010
Finish date: Saturday 11 Dec 2010
NB: no class Sat 30 October
Session 1: 10.30am to 12noon, 7 to 9 years
Session 2: 12 noon to 1.30pm, 10 to 13 years
Course duration: 12 weeks
Cost: €72 (family discount available for 2 or more children from one family)
About the Classes
This 10 week course of classes will consist of drama games and exercises, voice work, movement, basic stagecraft and creative play.
This programme offers an excellent introduction to drama for beginners and the opportunity for continuing students to build on their skills. Drama classes offer students the opportunity to learn more about their own voices and movements as well as observing others through play and theatre games. It can help to build confidence and to develop communication skills.
Participants are advised to wear loose, comfortable clothes and suitable footwear such as runners.
