pbm is one of the most acclaimed producers and creators of original musical theatre in Ireland and the company’s professional shows have now featured at theatres all across the world.
Every year pbm offers young people interested in musical theatre the opportunity to work with the company’s professional creative team in rehearsals, learning about acting, singing, and dancing, and working towards a public performance of a very special version of one of pbm’s hit shows.
Previous summer schools at An Grianan have featured the musicals Red, McCool, and Alice The Musical – but this year pbm is delighted to be offering young people the chance to star in Paul Boyd’s 2007 TMA Theatre Award nominated musical Pinocchio.
This is the fifth year of pbm’s hugely successful Summer School, and previous participants have ranged from those interested in appearing in their first musical to those heading off to train at drama school – the company always tailors its work to meet the training needs of those who take part.
Come and spend a week with pbm learning about professional musical theatre and getting ready for a unique performance of the fun-packed show Pinocchio.
With wonderful characters, big laughs, and unforgettable musical numbers this is a great show for all aspiring actors, dancers, and performers.
