Ballet Ireland Summer School

Once again, Ballet Ireland embarks on the ever popular and award-winning summer school, now in its ninth year. As ever, each week will be filled to the brim with ideas, laughter and creativity, with workshops full of dance, music and mime, and copious quantities of joy and inspiration.
This year we are going to centre our show on the story of “The Chimney Sweep”; participants will explore aspects of the tale and decide how these can best be expressed and translated into performance.
Working and performing in close proximity with experienced professional ballet dancers from Ballet Ireland’s core company, students will expand their own skills and techniques and further develop confidence in expression and performance.
Participation in the summer school programme is open to all, from age six and upward, boys and girls, experienced or first-timers.
