A Masterclass with Little John Nee

Update: we are holding another masterclass on Sat 5 Feb 2011 - please contact us on 074 912 0777 to reserve your free place.

We present a special masterclass with our Artist-in-Residence Little John Nee. This free masterclass is suitable for those with a strong interest in stage craft and in particular acting for the stage.

Little John Nee

The Masterclass

During the first half of this three hour workshop John will talk about the creative process invested in the three shows included in the residency “The Derry Boat” “Rural Electric” and “The Mental”. He will then talk a little about new projects that he is working on. This will be followed by questions and answers.

The second half of the workshop shall involve some creative work with participants exploring and developing ideas of particular interest to them.

This will be a gentle workshop - please wear comfortable clothes and bring a playful attitude. The workshop is recommended for those with previous experience in stage craft and acting.

The Little John Nee Residency is supported by PEACE III Programme managed for the Special EU Programmes Body by Donegal County Council.

The masterclasses will be taking place on Sat 6 Nov 2010 in the Regional Cultural Centre, Letterkenny at 1pm and on Thursday 11 Nov 2010 in the Ramelton Ancestry Centre at 10am.
