A popular programme from one of Canada's best amateur choirs.
The Elk Point Community Choir were founded in 1990 in Alberta, Canada and has been very active for the past twenty years. The choir members are of various ages, from numerous communities and a variety of walks of life.
The Choir is a community choir not affiliated with any religious organisation. The repertoire ranges from Broadway hits, modern, gospel and classical music. The choir has three recordings and has toured Germany, Austria, Switzerland, France, England, Scotland, Wales as well as the Canadian Maritime provinces.
The choir has approximately 35 members led by the director, Udo Mueller and accompanied by Pianist Deanna Easthope. Locally, the choir puts on two concerts a year, and performs in various communities upon request.
