From the bumbling but lovable Father Dougal to best selling novelist, Ardal O'Hanlon is easily one of Ireland's best loved and most accomplished comedians. He has also starred alongside David Tennant in Doctor Who and had a guest stint on Channel 4's hit teen drama Skins. We're delighted to have him back once more.

A spellbinding fusion of off beat stories and confident polished material combine to make Ardal O'Hanlon's stand up act a hilarious journey touched with life enhancing observations and unexpected twists.
His live shows take him around the world, including touring New Zealand, Belgium and Ardal recently completed a successful tour of the Middle East and China. In addition, he has enjoyed several massive sell out tours of the UK and Ireland and has released a live DVD (‘Ardal O'Hanlon Live in Dublin') released in 2007, as well as a special full-length video (‘Ardal O'Hanlon Live').
Following sell out shows in Boston and New York earlier this year, Ardal is due to return to America to tour in the Autumn.
Ardal has also presented So You Want to Be a Taoiseach and Leagues Apart, both for RTE. He takes the lead role of Val Falvey, in the RTE series ‘Val Falvey'. Wide Open Spaces, Ardal's most recent film project, was released in 2008.
Other film credits include, Greyfriars Bobby; The Butcher Boy and Another Bobby O'Hara Story.. Ardal's debut novel The Talk of the Town proved an enormous hit, remaining on the Best Seller charts for more than 6 months. It was recently voted one of the 1001 books to read before you die.
Ardal is currently writing a play for the prestigious Gate Theatre in Dublin and is developing a number of projects for Television. He continues to be one of the leading stand ups both in Ireland and the UK - performing major sell out tours across both countries - and internationally.
