Gerry Adams is the President of Sinn Féin.
His first book, Falls Memories, was published in 1982, and his other books include The Street and Other Stories (1992), Cage Eleven (1990), The Politics of Irish Freedom (1986), The New Ireland (2005), An Irish Voice (1997), An Irish Journal (2001) and An Irish Eye (2007).
His autobiographical books, Before the Dawn (1996) and Hope and History (2003) were international bestsellers.
