The Donegal Chamber Orchestra are delighted to welcome renowned violinist Darragh Morgan to join them in “Classic Strings” as guest director for two performances during this year’s festival.
As a concerto soloist, Darragh Morgan enjoys a hugely rewarding career, including invitations from the National Symphony Orchestra of Ireland, the Ulster Orchestra, and the KZN Philharmonic (presenting the South African premiere of Samuel Barber’s violin concerto).
Donegal’s own chamber orchestra features talented young string students from across the county, led by Hungarian violinist Orsolya Szab) with artistic direction from Spanish cellist Victor Yelamo.
