The four local children who will perform alongside such renowned actors as Ian McElhinney and Conleth Hill in Brian Friel's latest play The Home Place have been announced after a day of open auditions at Letterkenny's An Grianán Theatre.
Cormac Callaghan from Newmills, Stephanie Greenan from Correnagh, Aislinn Nic Ghiolla Bhain from Letterkenny and Thomas Vaughan, also from Newmills, were chosen from among a very bright and talented bunch of promising youngsters.
The young actors will appear on stage at An Grianán from Friday 30th January until Saturday 7th February and in the Strule Arts Centre, Omagh from Wednesday 11th to Saturday 14th March.
As only two children are present in the show the four will alternate the nights they take part.
