How to book
An Grianán offers not just the best of arts and entertainment, it also offers an attractive building to meet your friends for a relaxing evening.
Box Office Opening Hours
Monday to Friday, 9:30am to 6pm
Saturdays, 10am to 6pm
We are closed Sundays and Bank Holidays except in cases where we have a show in which case the box office will be open for two hours prior to the performance.
In the last hour before a performance the box office will only process tickets for that performance.
How to Book
You can book in any of these ways:
In person:

VISA, Mastercard and Laser cards are accepted. Normal box office hours apply.
By post:
Just write to us at The Box Office, An Grianán Theatre, Port Rd, Letterkenny, Co Donegal. Please state the performance, the date & time of the performance and enclose a cheque or postal order payable to An Grianán Theatre. Don't forget to ring and check availability before sending off your payment.
Online:
you can book online for most of our events. Just click on the Book Online link for your chosen event and follow the instructions. Please note there is an additional booking fee of €2.35 per ticket. Booking fees are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for credit.
Ticket Collection:
Postal and phone bookings will be held at The Box Office to be collected. We recommend that you collect your tickets at least 15 minutes before the performance starts.
If you would prefer to have your tickets posted out please tell us at the start of your booking. There is a €1.50 fee for this service. Tickets booked over the internet must be collected at the box office.
Tickets cannot be refunded. Tickets may be exchanged for a credit voucher subject to a €1 administration charge per ticket (and in the case of internet bookings minus the cost of any booking fees).
Credit vouchers remain valid for one year from date of issue.
Tickets must be exchanged at least 24 hours prior to the performance. If you have already collected your tickets you MUST return the tickets to us before you can exchange them.
The management reserve the right to refuse admission and to alter the cast of a production due to unforseen circumstances.
For safety reasons, buggies or carrycots are not permitted in the auditorium.
Cameras or recording devices are not permitted in the auditorium.
NB: Mobile phones and pagers must be switched off during performances.
Eating and drinking is not permitted in the auditorium.
Concessions:
We offer concessionary rate to students, senior citizens, under 18s, unemployed and registered disabled. Current ID is essential to avail of these concessions. Concessions may not be available for some shows. School groups can avail of special rates for many shows - contact Daithi at the box office for further information.
Latecomers:
All performances start at 8pm unless otherwise stated. Shows start on time, please don't be late! Latecomers will only be admitted if there is a suitable break, which is some cases may be the interval.
Traffic can be extremely heavy in Letterkenny especially at the weekend so please allow ample time for your journey.
Parking:
Our car park is located to the rear of the theatre and has room for approximately 70 cars. It is free of charge.
Please note that after 6pm there is no parking fee for using the main street.
Disabled parking bays are available at the lower left corner of the car park.
Parking is also available at the Grill on the Port Rd, approximately a 3 minute walk from the theatre, and on Justice T Walsh Rd, approximately a 5 minute walk away.
Food and Drink:
An Grianán's Café Bar is open from 10am to 4pm Mon to Sat, serving full meals, snacks and fine coffee. Take away service also available. Group bookings are welcomed. Smoking Policy:
All areas of the theatre are non-smoking, in line with government legislation. Ash bins are provided on the exterior of the building for your convenience.
Disabled Access:
An Grianán Theatre is dedicated to being accessible to all members of the community. We very much welcome bookings from people with disabilities, both from individuals and groups. Find out more

Gift Vouchers:
Vouchers can be purchased for any amount and remain valid for one year from date of purchase. They can be redeemed for events on sale at our box office. Gift vouchers cannot be purchased on line.
If you are buying a gift for a regular attender why not consider making them a Friend of An Grianán. Membership lasts for a year and entitles members to discounts and free tickets, invitations to performances and exhibition launches and other benefits. The scheme begins on January 1 each year.
